Ultimate Disneyland Paris Packing Guide

Before going on my magical trip to the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ I spent half of a day looking at various blogs to begin my packing list for Disneyland. I found this super, super helpful when actually packing for the trip as I knew exactly what to take and didn’t forget anything!

So I thought I’d share with you my own essentials when going to Disney:

Refillable Water Bottles
Walking around the Disneyland parks can be thirsty work- especially in the summer! So you will want to constantly keep hydrated as you wander from ride to ride.

Don’t even bother buying €5 bottles of water you find in and around the park! Instead, save the money and invest in a 1ltr, plastic drinks bottle that you can carry around in your bag. If you’re staying in one of the seven official Disney hotels, make sure to fill up at breakfast prior to going in the parks. Then later on, find the many refill fountains dotted around both Disneyland and Walt Disney studios. I found this so handy as I walked around the parks!

TRAINERS!

I hear the fashion conscious of you gasping right now! I know, how will you get that perfect Instagram picture with ugly trainers on your feet? Well, there’s this thing called comfort!
Maybe it’s just me, but walking around Disneyland in a pair of old, white converse did not do anything for my feet- leaving me with painful blisters and the urge to sit down at every possible moment. Luckily, for me (and my poor feet) on the last few days of our holiday, my kind friend offered me a saving grace- a pair of comfy shoes!

So if anything learn from my mistake and wear trainers- or at least comfy shoes of some sort!

Mini First Aid Kit

You never know when you might need a plaster!

Stick a small first aid kit with all the essentials such as paracetamol and plasters in your bag for those in-queue emergencies. These are especially handy for any painful blisters you want to get rid of as you walk around the parks.

A Pair of Mickey Mouse Ears

It wouldn’t be a trip to Disneyland without an iconic pair of Mickey Mouse ears!

On the first day of my trip I fell victim to the €16 trap when all my friends eagerly darted round the shopping district in search for the accessory. It wasn’t long before we found the ears tucked in the corner of the Disney store, myself purchasing a pair of sequin black ones with a red, sparkly bow Minnie would be proud of- and she was very happy to see us six girls donning her trademark ears with red bow when we met her one morning!
