My Favourite Plus Size Outfits In February
It’s already the end of February – why is the time going so quickly?! (*existential crisis begins*) Throughout the month, I’ve been thinking of new ways I can share my thoughts and feelings with everyone. I have also tried to work out my place in this community and what I can offer. When I asked the people over on Instagram, they said about how they liked my outfits photos and in turn, my style. I’ve never considered myself a “fashionista” or a trendsetter but evidentally, people like what I wear. (I don’t know why I’m just realising this now when I’ve been blogging for two years!)
In an effort to share more about what I’m wearing and why I like it, I’ve chosen my top three outfits from February and reviewed them below:

A little bit of yellow to brighten up your Sunday morning! 💛I would never choose to wear yellow normally but I'm looking to step out of my clothing comfort zone and wear less black. What's a colour you typically avoid? 📸: @jessfilmsthings . . . . #wednesdaysgirl #asos #asoslovescurve #asosdresses #size22style #plussizeuk #curvyblogger #curvylife #plussizeconfidence #visiblyplussize #plusisamust #plusandproud #styleandcurve #curvyandconfident #curvefashion #plussizestyle #plussizeblog #plussizeoutfit #fatshionista #plussizeblogger #plussizebloggers #bloggersuk #discoverunder10k #psootd #fullfigured #celebratemysize #essexblogger #essexbloggers #emilydiscovers
When I saw this dress on ASOS it immediately caught my eye! I’m not sure if it was the bright yellow or the spots (I have an insane addiction to polka dots at the moment) but I knew I needed it. I’ve bought from Wednesday’s Girl before but the fit wasn’t great so I was slightly hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised! With the lightweight, flowy material, it didn’t cling on places or feel really tight on my hips/stomach. The only issue I had (but I have with most wrap dresses) is that it was too lowcut – meaning my bra kept showing. I don’t anticipate flashing everyone on trips to brunch or at work. Annoyingly, this meant I would have to pin it, which I hate doing as I always stab myself. Plus, it never looks right!
“Ice Cream” Jumper, Teddy Bear Coat, Mom Jeans
I don’t think I’ve ever been so cozy in an outfit! The teddy coat was probably my best purchase this year. I always talk about feeling like a sheep in this jacket as it’s so warm. I wore it to Warsaw in January where it was 4.C and I didn’t feel the chill at all! Another part of this outfit that I loved was the jumper. It wasn’t particularly thick but I really loved the colours – I am a huge fan of pinky, beige tones which really goes against my fairly black wardrobe. Finally, who can go wrong with some mom jeans? I’m not a huge fan of jeans overall as I find them really uncomfortable. However, my mom jeans from River Island are super stretchy and fit perfectly.
Green Maxi Dress, Leather Jacket and Biker Boots
I recently did an order from Shein and I was pleasantly surprised by what I received. I only ordered dresses because I was too scared to order anything else! The green dress in this outfit was from this order. I got a size 4XL to be certain and it fit just right. Shocking for Shein, I know! When paired with a leather jacket and boots, I think it makes the perfect winter to spring transition outfit.
