With Ranbir Kapoor starring, this criminal thriller has made a big impression at the box office since its theatrical release. The creators have teased a sequel called Animal Park, much to the pleasure of fans.
Following his role as the antagonist and the critical acclaim he garnered, Bobby Deol spoke exclusively with Pinkvilla. Remarkably, he disclosed that before seeing the film, he was unaware of the existence of the sequel.
Bobby Deol on not knowing anything about Animal Park
Bobby Deol revealed in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla that he didn’t know the whole narrative of Animal or about the follow-up. He said, “Mujhe kahaani nahi maloom tha, mujhe toh pata bhi nahi tha ki Animal Park bhi hai, kuch maloom nahi tha mujhe” (I was unaware of the narrative and the existence of the Animal Park. I knew nothing at all about anything.
“Baatein toh hoti rehti thi ki film hit hogi toh sequel banaenge par mujhe kya maloom tha ki usne (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) already shoot karke rakha hua hai Animal Park,” Bobby revealed, explaining that he was only made aware of the sequel after seeing the movie.

Bobby Deol recalled being approached by Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Animal during the interview. He revealed that they had first met during the COVID era, and Sandeep had said he hoped Bobby would feature in the movie. “I want you to do this film because I saw a photograph of you and I love the expression in it,” Sandeep said to him.
Bobby disclosed that Sandeep had shown him the picture of him standing and staring off into the horizon, which had been taken back when he was a famous cricket player. “Mujhe yeh chahie yeh expression aisa character hai mera” is how Sandeep expressed his desire for the statement. Bobby replied in a lighthearted manner, “Bekaari ke din kaam aa gaye” (Idle days have arrived).

Bobby went on to describe how Sandeep gave a synopsis of the film without giving away every detail, and he revealed that he will be playing a character who is deaf. He said, “I was quite excited because I’ve been attempting to work on projects that push me beyond of my comfort zone because they allow me to be at my best. I completed my studies at Aashram, Love Hostel, and Class of ’83.”
Bobby acknowledged the task and expressed his appreciation for the favorable reaction, saying, “I was like, ‘Okay, now I have to be mute, how do I perform?'” I am aware of the strength of my voice and how to utilize it, yet right now I am voiceless. However, it
