When asked if he will be appearing in a movie with his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty, in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Kundra gave a firm answer.
Raj Kundra responded wittyly, saying, “Sir, newcomer hun (Sir, I am a newcomer)” to this. These celebrities won’t be working with me just yet, I believe. Who knows, though? Soon, Raj Kundra will appear in UT 69, a satirical play that chronicles his incarceration experiences. Notably, Kundra will go from business to acting with the movie, which will be his acting debut.
In a previous interview with News18, Kundra disclosed his wife’s reaction upon learning that Raj Kundra intended to direct a movie about himself.
He continued, saying that Shetty’s initial response to her was not particularly pleasant: “As I turned away from her, a flying chappal came towards my face.”
He went on to say that she most likely did so because she was dubious of the notion and thought it would be dangerous.
Examining Shilpa’s response in more detail, Raj also noted that the actress thought the tale was quite human and ordinary after director Shahnawaz Ali gave her a quick synopsis of the movie.
