“IPL till I am unable to walk”

He added that he intends to participate in the league until he is unable to walk. “The IPL will probably be the last tournament I ever play, as I will play the IPL until I can’t walk anymore,” Glenn Maxwell stated in a discussion with ESPNCricinfo. In the IPL, Maxwell has played for Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, and Bangalore. In the captain’s chair, he once guided Punjab to the final.
Glenn Maxwell also credited IPL for shaping his career. Maxwell added, “I was talking about how good the IPL has been to me throughout my career, the people I’ve met, the coaches I have played under, the international players that you get to rub shoulders with—and how beneficial to my whole career that tournament has been.” IPL 2024 will take place just before the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled in West Indies and USA.
