IPL 2024 auction: a basic price of 2 crores was established by 25 players, including Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, and Kedar Jadhav.

On December 19, 2023, in Dubai, the IPL 2024 auction will showcase some of the biggest names in cricket today. The IPL teams received the identities of 1,166 registered players on Friday.

Out of the 1,166 players, 830 are from India and 336 are from outside. The list consists of 45 associate players, 909 uncapped players, and 212 capped players.

But once the teams submit the names of the people they want to see in the IPL, the final pool will be far less. There are 909 uncapped players on the list, 812 of them are Indian, and 45 players are from Associate nations.

Thirty of the 77 spots available to the 10 franchises at the IPL 2024 auction can be occupied by overseas players. A total of INR 262.95 crores will be up for grabs during the auction.

In the IPL 2024 auction, 7 of Australia’s ICC World Cup 2023 winners will be offered among 25 players, with a starting price of INR 2 crores.

Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Steven Smith, Josh Inglis, and Sean Abbott are seven of the players from Australia’s winning ODI World Cup team. A total of twenty-five players will be up for auction in the IPL 2024, with a starting price of INR 2 crore.

Fast bowler Gerald Coetzee, who took the most wickets for South Africa during the World Cup, and England batsman Harry Brook—who was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad—as well as Harshal Patel, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, and Kedar Jadhav are among the other noteworthy players in the highest base price bracket.
