Leading run scorers in the Cricket World Cup 2023: batting average and top batter rankings

In the competition to be named the top run scorer in the 2023 Cricket World Cup, Quinton de Kock is still in the lead.

Virat Kohli, who struck yet another century as India maintained their unblemished record with a decisive victory over South Africa, is putting pressure on the Proteas batting. With three games remaining in the tournament, both batters may still be able to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 673 runs.

Teammates Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen join De Kock in the top ten, while Rohit Sharma, despite a slight dip in form, remains in the top five.

One of New Zealand’s biggest players thus far in the competition, Rachin Ravindra is close to both De Kock and Kohli, while David Warner will be looking to get closer to the top three.

Glenn Maxwell, an Australian teammate, has also cracked the top 10 following his incredible double century against Afghanistan, which guaranteed a semi-final position.
