Man United’s interest has put Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham on red alert for a £15.1 million goalscorer.

This season, Manchester United will face competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham for the acquisition of one of Europe’s most prolific goal scorers.

After making his original loan move from Rennes permanent in the summer, Serhou Guirassy, a striker for Stuttgart, has been in scorching form in the Bundesliga this season.

The 27-year-old broke Robert Lewandowski’s record by scoring 11 goals in his first seven games, and now has 15 league goals in ten outings. This season, only Harry Kane has scored more goals than Guirassy.

Clubs around Europe’s top divisions have been linked with a move for the striker and ahead of the January transfer window, that queue is only extending. According to The Guardian, Manchester United are keen on bringing Guirassy to Old Trafford.

Rasmus Hojlund, a Denmark international, cost the Red Devils £72 million in the summer, but he has struggled to fit in in the Premier League, failing to score even one goal. If Anthony Martial decides to leave the team, Erik ten Hag may be interested in expanding his offensive alternatives.

The midfielder is reportedly being connected to West Ham, Brentford, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and AFC Bournemouth; Newcastle United is also thought to be interested in him. However, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal might completely dominate the striker competition.

This season, all three clubs are in severe need of offensive reinforcements. With both teams interested in Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen, a new center-forward may be seen as the missing component in Mikel Arteta and Mauricio Pochettino’s respective jigsaw puzzles.

It is anticipated that both players will cost about £100 million. Guirassy’s contract has a release provision that makes him available for just £15.1 million.
