Mother provides a delicious slow cooker recipe for teriyaki chicken.


Cooking a large meal is usually the last thing that many of us want to do after a busy day. We therefore frequently resort to simple foods, such as heating leftover mac & cheese or baking something frozen.

Fortunately, there’s a way to enjoy tasty, home-cooked meals without spending all of your time in the kitchen. Of course, we’re talking about slow cookers!

There are all kinds of slow cooker recipes out there to help satisfy even your pickiest eaters. This is one of them!

Mom and social media star, Kayli Butler, shared a simple recipe for making teriyaki chicken. As she puts it,

“It’s great for busy parents, college students, or anyone who is always in a rush.”

The ingredients for “Quick and Easy Teriyaki Chicken” are as follows.

Five to six frozen chicken breasts

Half a cup of brown sugar

and half a cup of soy sauce

Baby carrots

chopped broccoli

Extra veggies (optional) It serves her family just the right amount and leaves some for leftovers.

Just keep in mind that you can modify this teriyaki chicken dish to suit the size and tastes of your household.

Another thing to keep in mind is that since it’s a slow cooker recipe, you need time for it to cook! This one requires about seven hours of cooking time.

First Step: Put the frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot, also known as a slow cooker.

Step Two: First, add 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup soy sauce to the slow cooker. As Kayli notes, you can utilize any brand.

Step Three: It is now going to be allowed to cook. The mother leaves her slow cooker on “high” for five hours.

The Fourth Step: Add the tiny carrots to the slow cooker and cook for an additional five hours.

Regarding the quantity, Kayli states:

“Just add as many carrots as you like. If you don’t like carrots don’t add as many. Or, you don’t have to add any if you don’t want to!”

Step Five: After the hour is up, add some chopped broccoli to the slow cooker. If you’re a big fan of veggies, you can toss others in too!

Cauliflower, onions, or peppers would also make great additions. It all depends on what you and your family like.

Place the cover back on and cook for an additional hour.

The mouthwatering teriyaki chicken is now ready to enjoy!

You can eat it plain, over noodles, over rice, or scoop it onto a salad.
