Tom, Joe, and Jake were back together for the first time since picking up an 18/1 winner a few weeks prior, and for the first time this year, James ‘Jimmy the Punt’ Cantrill joined them to create a foursome on the This Week’s Acca podcast. It was effective.
The fourfold was looking promising even before the first kick of the ball, with the Sky Bet-enhanced price dropping from 14/1 to 11s. It went reasonably smoothly, with none of the four sides taking an early lead.

Acca picks for this week
TRANMERE 2-0 CREWE
Sutton Harrogate loses against DONCASTER 4-1. SWINDON STOCKPORT 2-0 Newport
The Acca’s first goal came from Swindon after eight minutes. Three minutes later, Crewe, three minutes after that, Stockport, and, amazingly, Doncaster all scored three minutes after the Hatters.
Therefore, all four teams were in the lead after 17 minutes, and Acca supporters never turned around.
After Tranmere’s goalie was sent off, Crewe played for 42 minutes with just 10 players, adding a second shortly after, while Stockport jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the 70th minute of their game against Sutton. Doncaster ran riot in the second half of their match against Sutton.
The only game that was still in doubt was Swindon, but Rushian Hepburn-Murphy’s second-half goal for the Robins put all doubts to rest and set the party in motion.
